Is a professional photo better than one of mine?
While I have worked with many talented professionals, and I love their work, some of my favorite cards have been images that parents have taken. "Homemade" snapshots can often truly catch the moment or spirit and can make beautiful cards. Beaches, water, lemonade stands, sleeping, eating ice cream...all these simple joys make great cards. If you do opt to use a professional photo, I require the photographer's permission to use the image. I will also give your photographer picture credits on the back of the card.
How long will my order take?
Generally speaking, allow 7-10 days for an order after the proof is approved. Larger, more complex orders may take longer. Shorter time frames can be accommodated, but may incur rush charges.
What kind of paper do you print on?
All cards are printed on a heavy, matte-coated white paper (80# smooth white). This paper was chosen because of its consistency and performance.
When do I send payment?
If your item has a fixed price and shopping cart option, you will be charged at the time of sale. For custom photo card orders, you will send your photo to us along with a nonrefundable $15 or $25 design fee ($15 for blank cards; $25 for custom text inside) to initiate your proof and a price quote for your total order. Once the proof is mutually “tweaked,” the balance of your payment is due to begin production.

What kinds of photos work best?
If using a digital camera, use the highest quality setting.
Try to keep the background simple.
For photos of newborns, we suggest draping a white or light towel or blanket on a safe surface as a backdrop. Use lots of light and natural light if possible.
Bottom line is we work with all kinds of photos…if you're in love with your photo, we will be too.
Should I send more than one photo?
